Apple's 40mm GPS Apple Watch SE is available for $189.00 today on Amazon, down from $249.00. This is just $10 higher compared to the all-time low price on the wearable. This deal is available in all three aluminum color options, and only Amazon has the discount.

You can also get the 44mm GPS Apple Watch SE on sale right now, available for $219.00 on Amazon, down from $279.00. This is another near all-time low price that's just $10 away from the lowest price on the Apple Watch SE, and it's also available in all three aluminum colors.

This model of the Apple Watch SE launched in September 2022 and remains Apple's most affordable Apple Watch. The Apple Watch SE lacks some of the upgraded features you'll find in some Series 9 or Ultra 2 models, like temperature sensing and ECG functionality, but it will otherwise provide you with all key Apple Watch features, and at the cheapest price possible.

Finally, we're also tracking a solid deal on one model of the Apple Watch Ultra 2. You can get the model with the Green/Grey Trail Loop (S/M) for $714.00 on Amazon, down from $799.00. Discounts on the Apple Watch Ultra 2 have been rare over the past few weeks, and this deal beats the average discounted price by about $15.

So my Series 3 became a pain to update do to memory issues. For example, there wouldn’t be enough room to download the updates unless I erased the watch. I tried several times to uninstall apps and data but could never get enough free space for updates. I’m not sure if that’s the same issue with the SE but it was a hassle nonetheless on the series 3. I’ll add to that though, regardless of the update issue, the watch still does what I need it to.

Keep in mind that the SE doesn't support an always-on screen, which is a reasonable expectation a lot of new watch owners would expect by now.

It is not the same as the SE. The SE has a full 32 gigs of storage. Your 3 ”has” 8 gigs, although only like 3 gigs is usable.

That seems to only be an issue with the Series 3, it was gimped with not enough storage.

Personally, even though my Series 6 supports always-on, I have it turned off. I tried it for a few months and it wasn't worth the battery drain. It's 3.5 years old.

As it is, I need a battery swap pretty soon. If I had used always-on, I probably would have needed a swap after two years.

why no qwerty touchscreen keyboard for watchSE2?

do you think/hope they'll bring it to watchSE3?

Also, why so syncing with iPad?

I can *kind of* understand not wanting to *activate* apple watch with iPad. Because apple wants a reason to keep iPhone "special" in regards to how it *requires* the iPhone to activate.

An idea - how about they *bring the Apple watch app to iPad* and allow most everything the iPhone apple watch app allows *except for apple watch activation*. The apple watch would still require the iPhone for initial activation, but after that, you could sync with the iPad apple watch app *without iPhone*. I think that would make both apple and consumers happy.

Good pricing for Watch SE! Also nice to see discount on the Ultra version.

Still using the first gen se with a massive screencrack (you can see the internal chips etc. So no way it’s waterproof). But the battery still lasts like 1,5 days if full and on flightmode.

Might need a new one but the newer models are so expensive here.

Took advantage of the same offer a month ago. Arrived with the band missing - the security tape had been removed. Returned it. Ordered a second which arrived fine, but it took a MONTH for Amazon to refund the cost of the first and it was a hassle -- made me feel like they were accusing me of stealing the band. Customer chat support was terrible.
