Get The Speed of Panther's Menus Back in Tiger or Leopard!

I have a C2D 2.0 GHz MacBook with 2GB of RAM. I did an upgrade install to Leopard and have had no issues. My dock is just fine and there is no choppiness whatsoever. I don't understand what you all are talking about.

I'm on a 1.5 G4 and my 3D Dock is FAST and SMOOTH!
None of this choppy stuff... choppy dock owners must
have upgraded rather than erase and install.

Nope, I did an erase and install too, but it's choppy and slow. I've even changed to the 2D dock and it's still choppy with the genie effect.
