Amazon this weekend is offering discounts across the M5 iPad Pro lineup, including both 11-inch and 13-inch models. The highlight this time around is a return of a low price on the 256GB Wi-Fi 11-inch M5 iPad Pro, which is on sale for $899.99, down from $999.00.

Many of the deals in this sale match — or beat — the record low prices we tracked during the holiday season. Amazon provides an estimated delivery date around January 23 for free delivery, but Prime members should see earlier delivery dates in many cases.

For the larger models, you can save up to $200 on the 13-inch M5 iPad Pro on Amazon this weekend. If you're shopping for the 1TB Nano-Texture Glass Wi-Fi model, Amazon has this tablet for $1,799.00, down from $1,999.00, as well as a few other 13-inch models between $100 and $200 off.

Be aware that if purchasing an iPad or MacBook from Amazon in the USA and you want to return it, (for whatever reason) the package MUST be dropped off at a Whole Foods Market. Returning it back to Amazon by shipping it with UPS is not an option and they won’t budge. It’s Whole Foods or nothing.

(But strangely, once the package is dropped off at Whole Foods, Whole Foods ships it back to Amazon via UPS. Ha!)

Can you link to that policy?

Got an m5 11” wifi cellular 2tb glossy with $610 off last week from Amazon. Not sure how the coupon even appeared

Don't see that deal on one with cellular. Got a link or a Costco item number?
11” Nano option

13” Nano option

There are several other nano options. Do a search on the website for iPad Pro M4 nano. They also have a few M5 options on sale as well.

Really good to know and very surprising. We have a Whole Foods close by but they’re not exactly common where I live.

give me the reason I need (what extra functionality do I get) an iPad with an m5 chip. just asking
Most cases, not a lot. Faster charging times if you use a 100W charger (it comes with a 20W charger). If you're using the cellular version you should see better battery life with the newer modem.

The cellular version of the 13" M4 1TB nano texture is around $1,100 less than the M5 at Costco.

What are you comparing this to? Because the “extra functionality” depends on the starting point. Also :

It’s not stated anywhere on Amazon’s website and it caught me off guard (WTF?) but the exact thing happened to me this December when buying a MacBook and then returning it. Whole Foods only.
I called Amazon- and I was told that since the item was so expensive, it had to be dropped off at WF. She even asked her supervisor since a WF drop off was almost impossible for me - but nope. Whole Foods only.

Problem with a WF drop off is that occasionally dropped off packages “disappear” and there’s no receipt of it ever getting dropped off - & you’re screwed.

WF doesn’t give you a receipt when you drop off your package. Cross your fingers and pray that Amazon gets it.

Really bad system.
After that experience- I would never buy an expensive item (aka Apple product) from Amazon because the return policy for these things is unacceptable

Nah, the policy is for lithium batteries. I bought lithium rechargeable AAA batteries from Amazon ($25) and can only return via Whole Foods.
