Amazon this week is taking up to $52 off Wi-Fi models of Apple's 11th generation iPad. Prices start at $299.00 for the 128GB Wi-Fi iPad, down from $349.00, which is a solid second-best price on this model.

I was interested in getting the new cheap iPad 12th gen when it came out. Ended up getting a free iPad 9th gen. Updated to 26.4.

It’s literally all I need for an iPad . Only gripe is no usb c and its display not laminated(but neither are the new ones).

Surprised how well it runs iPads 26 with its 3GB ram.

I'm glad you like your iPad. It's definitely surprising how these base iPad models run smooth, specially with iPadOS 26 being graphic demanding than other versions. Keep in mind that for your iPad model, the version 26 it's the last one it will receive. If you care of having the latest OS, you can trade your free iPad for 100$+ at the Apple Store for a new one

Keep in mind I’ve owned an m4 iPad Pro . Haha , obviously it’s missing the bells and whistles but it feels low and iPad and not anything else.

Considering the iPad 8th gen got 26, I’m hopeful for one for one more update this fall but who knows.

It’s a bit sentimental to me for reasons I won’t disclose but that’s a great suggestion. Thank you .

I have a nearly new gen9 that I use for 26 betas. Yes, it runs well. Don’t mind the shiny screen but have grown to love USB-C, especially for screen mirroring on my 32” TV. I really dislike having both speakers on one end, compared to my M2 Air!

As the battery on my Air gets more tired than it is, I can see a standard iPad in my future. The standard is a great value.

I'm still using one of these for some reading and streaming, but finally gave up on games last point release. Do what you can to preserve the battery life, especially given the new battery tool in the OS doesn't support this model. I think it'll get OS 27, but definitely not expecting anything after. Since almost all the new features in OS 26+ seem to rely on AI that it can't run, that may not matter much, anyway.

Good iPad and comes in nice fun colors and at $299 it is a good buy and should be enough for a significant portion of customers.
