Best Buy is back this week with big discounts on the M2 11-inch and 12.9-inch iPad Pro, providing up to $600 off select models. A My Best Buy Plus/Total membership is not required to see these discounts.

You'll find both Wi-Fi and cellular tablets on sale at Best Buy, with a particular focus on the larger capacity 1TB and 2TB models. All deals listed below represent record low prices on each iPad Pro model, and many of them can currently only be found at Best Buy.

With such steep savings, these previous generation iPad Pros are worth looking into purchasing for anyone who wants to prioritize saving money over owning the newest M4 iPad Pro. There are some major differences between the two generations, like the M4's support for Apple Pencil Pro and a new nano-texture display option, so be sure to read about which one works best for you in our Buyer's Guide.

Looks like I effed up buying cellular when I did back in June. AT&T was offering 200 bucks off and stock was hard to find so I jumped on the 1TB model.

Swapping my M1 12.9 iPad Pro for an M4 11” iPad Pro is tempting but I think I’d rather wait for the iPad Mini 7.
That’s what I traded. I enjoy the camera location since I use it for TEAMS and Zoom quite a bit.

If I had the money I could trade in my M2 12.9 for $565 to Apple and pay $934 for a M4 13” 512gb, but I’m happy with my M2 and it does everything that I want. I’ve only had it for a year anyway, and I love my Brydge keyboard.

Discounts better show value of things. Not pointing finger anywhere.
In case of tablets, I am not aware of better tablet than iPad. To be exact - ipadOS supporting device. Term “use case” is marketing. Countless statements were made about ipadOS and macOS. iPad Pro being most visible.
Apple must be happy with iPad Pro sales, otherwise use case of iPad Pro would be the same as Macbook and vice versa.
This is why I will buy the cheapest iPad and dream of having display of an iPad Pro. LoL

All these useless 8 GB RAM will be of no use except for the M2. Still too high considering its bleak future.

Perfect timing, I guess. The USB-C port on my 2018 iPad Pro suddenly stopped charging.

So either I get it fixed or get this one instead.

Edit: I'll just have it fixed since its still under AppleCare+

Last month I saw iPad M4 cellular at around $200 discount. I was so angry that in principle, I went to Apple store and Got M4 Pro 1TB Cellular and another M4 Pro 256GB Wifi for my family for full price. I refuse these superficial discounts. Vote with your wallets. Man up and pay the full price and tip $100 the gentleman who is carefully protecting the iPad stock at the store. If need arises, we should always get next (storage and RAM) tier and support the company we love. It is perfectly acceptable to keep something for mortgage. People all over the world have done this for centuries.

I'm stuck trying to decide between the new 13" iPad Air 256GB Wi-Fi, or M2 iPad Pro 12.9" 256GB Wi-Fi. They are running about the same price when you find them on sale. The iPad Pro with FaceID would be nice to have, but I really like the landscape camera of the new iPad air.

It will be replacing my 2nd gen iPad Pro 12.9" 256GB so either should be a nice upgrade.

Any suggestions/opinions? I know the new M4 would get me the best of both worlds, but I'm not sure it is worth the extra $450 for my use cases (mostly web surfing, watching videos, etc).

I just made this decision. I am upgrading from a 12.9” 2018. I decided to go with the M2 because of Face ID, ProMotion and MiniLED. It’s also nice not having to buy a new pencil or keyboard.
