I did it! I just got my hands on a iPad Pro 12.9 M2 256 + 5G...my previous was a iPad Pro 11 M1 + 5G...it was about 3 years old...no issues with it at all...I know it would have lasted my easily another 3 years, but I wanted to take advantage of the M2 being the last model with a physical sim tray! I currently have T-Mobile with the 3rd line free and I just pop in the SIM card for the 3rd line into it, instead of paying the additional $20 bucks a month for tablet service. I wouldn't be able to do this with a eSIM as T-Mobile wouldn't allow it.
