I don't know if it's a driver issue or what, but I can't get vista to output 1900x1200 through dvi to hdmi. In OSX it works flawlessly. The only reason I am trying to get it to output higher res is because netflix online only works on windows. At the moment it can only output 1024x768.

Install a Sony GDM-FW900 monitor driver, set the resolution to 1920x1200 and 60 hertz.

    That may work.

If you have a new MacBook Pro, it is an issue with the Vista driver for the 8600m. You can get higher resolutions if you use the vga adapter cable.
