Missing something here maybe....

Did the download... but when I tried to open a VIDEO_TS folder on a an SD DVD I could not see how to import the DVD...

Great find. I just converted all my son's .AVI video clips for him. Now we can watch them on the Apple TV. He will be in heaven tomorrow when he wakes up!

BTW, I'm not sure if iMovie '09 can do the same thing, but this program was easy to use.

Thanks again!

iMovie is more for creating your own movies from smaller clips you have, adding music, and such. Handbrake does the same thing on all platforms and for free all the time.

what size is the file download?

when i try to download it, it doesnt say how big the file is, just how much has been downloaded, which means i cant tell how long it will take.

Thanks OP

That's converting .mkv to iphone/ipod touch friendly files at a good speed, about 40 mins for a 90min movie, just what I need before we go on holiday

i just downloaded and its telling me its only a trial version? free run must be up early.

I think it just worked for me. But I need it for PC to be useful...old Mac PB of mine is having a hard time staying awake.

Free PC version???
