Hi people does anyone know how to sign into your mail, and the .mac stuff? it says i have an account, but i don't know the password i asked for my password and it says my account does not exist.

go to mac.com. there should be an option to reset your password or get your password emailed to you.

After having your password, you can setup Mail to get your mail so you don't have to log in online.

Just run regular updates and your should be fine. You could also go into the Preferences Pane and under Security, click the Firewall tab and select "Allow only essential services."
