My main question is do u need to use the chinese windows version of the JB for this method to work?

Anyone get this to work wid the English version for the mac?

Right im wonderin if It works with the English mac version of the JB tool? The steps exactly in the link are usin the original windows version.

There's using Parallels. But it's just a hacked ipa, I'm sure theres a Mac version or something similar to iFunBox.

I just used the online method o jailbreak, much easier and you get he 1 year cert w/o the extra steps and no computer needed.

I followed an Everythingapplepro video, search YouTube Everythingapplepro no computer jailbreak.

this is now obsolete as the certificate is embedded in the jailbreak requiring no need until april of 2017

1984 is referring to the update recently.

Update x2: Pangu 1.1 IPA file has been released with an option called “embedded certificate” which could make the jailbreak last 1 year instead of 7 days just like Chinese PP jailbreak. The download link above has been updated with new Pangu English IPA file.

You should be fine with the Chinese one year. Sounds like either certificate will work for a year. The new Pangu one lists April 2017 for me.

That's why I said, "...something similar." Since I don't use a Mac, I have no idea on the apps for it.
