Hello. Since X-mas is coming I was originally thinking of getting a MacBook Pro 13" But decided i'd wait for my 17" to die in may 2011 so I'm thinking of getting a HD Camcorder. The budget obviously is €850 or $1000 etc. I'd love a camera that does extremely well in low light. Have audio input to plug in a external mic and prehaps being able to mount an external mic on top of the camera i.e shotgun.
 
The Sony XR500V (120GB HD) and XR520V (240GB HD) are pretty nice and can be had for about 1K.
 
Don't forget DSLR's. Here's a nice DSLR that captures HD video as well. Typically DSLR's have the ability to capture video in low-light with great results since you can crank there ISO's. Plus you'll have lens options and a great still camera.

Thanks. I think I'll want for my canon DSLR XSI to die then I might get a Canon T1i or something like that
