Hello. Since X-mas is coming I was originally thinking of getting a MacBook Pro 13" But decided i'd wait for my 17" to die in may 2011 so I'm thinking of getting a HD Camcorder. The budget obviously is €850 or $1000 etc. I'd love a camera that does extremely well in low light. Have audio input to plug in a external mic and prehaps being able to mount an external mic on top of the camera i.e shotgun.

Don't forget DSLR's. Here's a nice DSLR that captures HD video as well. Typically DSLR's have the ability to capture video in low-light with great results since you can crank there ISO's. Plus you'll have lens options and a great still camera.

Here's something in your budget:

Here's some sites that are a good resource for DSLR's with HD Video.
