Getting a new router. Need advice plz.

So my POS netgear is really pissing me off and its slow as hell. i have a macbook pro and was planning on buying the Airport Extreme but ive heard alot of bad things about it and im not to sure. Would like advice on other options preferably wireless N. I experience extremely slow internet speeds like slower than dial up with this netgear. If you are not having any problems with your setup please tell me what you got. im open to suggestions as well. i just cant seem to make up my mind n this one. Thanx for the advice!

I also recommend the WRT54G (Linksys). If you need that bigger coverage area, go for the WRT150N (Linksys N Router).
