getting a used ipad v.warranty question

so if i get a used ipad does the warranty stay with the device or the initial owner?

does the genius bar have replacement ipad parts to perform repairs (lcd,glass, bezel etc) or do you have to ship it to apple to get the ipad repaired under warranty

It depends, if it's something big then they just give u a refurb one. Something small they will repair it at the store I would suppose.

For hardware problems they swap them out in-store (no repairs).

Yea took it to the store yesterday and they swapped it out was in and out with in 15 minutes
