I have had an Apple Watch for nearly a year, and I think it has motivated me. I have started reaching my step goals, being on my phone less, as I can see important notifications and leave them till later if need be. I have also started to track my workouts better through the normal FitnessApp, but I particularly enjoyed AppleWatch features such as Breath and Mindfulness. I also downloaded an app recently called StressFace which has helped me manage my stress levels throughout the day better than I could do before. I believe it depends on what exactly you are looking for but the Watch and the Apps have definitely been a game-changer for me
