Getting an iPhone 4 unlocked from stores

Hi,

Does anyone know if the wait for a sim free iPhone 4 32GB from UK Apple stores (in particularly the Manchester / Liverpool stores) is the same 3 weeks as online, or if these shops will have stock sooner?

Also, is it possible that stores like Carphone Warehouse will be selling the phone sim free in store, or is it only available from Apple directly?

Stores will get more periodic stock, I believe only apple sell sim free.
