Getting an unsupported Canon SmartBase Scanner to work with my Mac

I'm trying to get my Canon SmartBase MP390 to work with my Mac, and I need to be pointed in the right direction, assuming there is a right direction. Aren't there any open-source Linux drivers or something that I can use? Thanks in advance.
 
It's not listed as supported on the website for Mac OS X, but you can download and try the trial of VueScan. That's about all I can think of at the moment. Sorry.
