Alrighty so I've got a few of the same questions that most have. Just want to see them on my own thread I guess lol.

1. Does Black or White really effect things?
2. Would any stores happen to still have the 4.3.3 versions (or w/e version it was) that can be jailbroken or are they all updated?
3. Not sure if I should get 32GB or 64GB? I've always had 32GB iProducts...3gs, 4 & 4S. Finally after a month with the 4S I managed to fill it. Multiple 1GB apps, over 1k songs and a lot of photos. Some of it I probably could have done without, but I don't know how big things are on the iPad. Any advice there?
4. Where should I buy my iPad 2? (Stores only)

Thanks :D

Black or white is just aesthetic - although, some people do find that the white border can be a bit distracting as compared to the black border.

As for 32/64GB versions... personally, I'd go for the 16GB, but I don't store too many large things on my iPod touch as it is. Keep in mind, the iPad 2's camera is pretty underwhelming (in fact, if I'm remembering right, it's the exact same as the iPod touch), so the photos and videos it takes will be considerably smaller than the 4S's higher-quality content. It's also a good idea to move videos recorded to a hard drive, as they can take up a significant amount of space, even an iPod's 720p videos. Since you're set on 32 or 64, though, I'd go for a 32GB and just remove things you don't use often. (Unless, of course, you decide to go for a WiFi iPad - then I'd take the 64GB. It's even cheaper than the 32GB with 3G.)

As for where to buy it... as far as I'm aware, Micro Center has a holiday deal where each model is $50 off. Take advantage of this, if you can.

I prefer black as the border just seems to disappear. White is nice, too, but a bit distracting.

I have both the iPad 1 and 2. Started out with 16GB, quickly realized it wasn't enough and upgraded to a 32GB. I'm now realizing that even 32GB isn't enough. Simple reasons. As time passes, your space consumption just increases, not decreases. Your photo collection will get ever larger. You'll download more and more apps, many of which are now 500MB or bigger. And you'll accumulate more and more data within those apps. Evernote, for example, isn't big in and of itself, but I now have over 500MB of data in Evernote that I like to keep synced to my iPad. And then of course, there's video which always gobbles up a lot of space. I'm definitely getting the 64GB iPad 3, which I imagine will be 50-55GB full on day one.

I'd buy at an Apple store. Good customer service, liberal return/exchange policy. If I can help it, I'll never buy another Apple product at a non-Apple store again.

I have a 32 gig and thought it would be enough. But having had mine since April I really wish I had 64 gigs now. It amazing how fast it fills up. I use mine mostly when I travel and just a couple of movies plus some tunes take up a lot of space. Add in some apps (yes, app size seems to be getting bigger) and pretty soon you start to run out of space. However, if you don't travel or don't mind doing 'housekeeping' (meaning transferring stuff back and forth, resyncing, etc) then 32 may be enough for you.

Apple store. For all the reasons the poster above stated.

I am happy that I decided to go with the 64GB version. At the time I was purchasing it, I was going to buy the 32GB, but at the last minute I changed my mind. I figured fewer people regret buying more than they need, so I bought it. As it turns out, the 64GB was the best choice, for me.

You're 3 months away from iPad 3. Wait up...

No guarantees there mate.

Also, thanks to everyone for their friendly input. It helps me decide. I'll be leaving probably within the next hour to pick it up. I'm most likely going to my AT&T store as they're the closest thing to Apple (which is a bit of a drive...same goes for Microcenter). I'm gonna go black this time (had a white 4S) and I think I'll buy the 32GB (wifi + 3g) and fill it up with what I think I'll have in a month and return it and upgrade within the 2 week period (I think it is) if it doesn't work out.

Thanks again ladies/gents :)
