Getting another 2600xt - 2008 Mac Pro

I'm planning on adding a 3rd monitor to my set up but i also need to buy a 2nd video card.

I was wondering if i could just buy any 2600xt video card and it would be compatible with my mac.

you have to get vid card that support mac.
one of like 1000s supports so you have to find exact one.
best way is the apple store but they rip you off so
get the brand, name, code number and find the item online and get it.
if you get them in apple store, ur paying extra 100 hot cheetos.

Yeah i only need to get the 2600xt but it's $120 on the apple site and I've seen other ones for much cheaper.

You need the Apple one.

That's what I figured but I was hoping I would be able to update the firmware or whatever, like with the other ATI cards.
