Getting another iPhone 5, can I switch sim's?

So I plan to get another iPhone 5 32gb black for my daughter.

If we do decide to switch, can I simply switch the sim cards? Will I risk losing my grandfathered unlimited data?

Verizon and Sprint use a hybrid system - only the DATA is authenticated through the SIM...but you have AT&T so youll be fine
