Hi all~
Need a little help, but I'll explain my situation first. I recently formatted my computer and reinstalled Windows XP. By doing so I lost all the stuff on my computer, of course. It was my understanding that since I still have apps on my iPod, if I connected it to iTunes they would automatically load back onto iTunes and on my computer.

Was I wrong in thinking this?
If not, steps in how to do this would be great!

Thank-you:D

Thing is, after reformatting, the iPhone thinks your iTunes library is a whole new computer and will not allow syncing. You will have to redownload those applications (for free of course) to get them back on your iPhone/iTunes.

If you had however backed up your iTunes library, then the iPhone will sync up to the iTunes library even though Windows is reinstalled. Of course, in that case we wouldn't be having this conversation anyway!

I thought I did back up...

I just figured it out though. Under file, I just clicked transfer purchases from "iPod".

Problem solved, thanks.
