pop out the battery
i saw something on youtube about checking your wiring or reinstalling, so i tried the wiring first. it turned on when i put in the last bolt. when i shut down and got up the following morning, i got the folder again, but this time i only popped out the battery, and turned it on, and went straight to start up. i would only recommended doing this to back up your files and than reinstalling, because that is what i did

What model? 13" MBPs can have faulty hard drive cables, nice and cheap to repair and no loss of data.
