I have my iMac connected to my wifi router via an ethernet cable. But it keeps changing its ip address. It seems like it always goes for the lowest last nubmers. Like the IP Address is 192.168.1.101 and sometimes it will be .104 or any random number. I use my iphone to connect to it sometimes and its a pain to have keep checking what it is. Is there any way i can make 192.168.1.110 and keep it from changing?

Or you can have your router always assign the same IP address based on the MAC address of the device.

That's because your router is distributing available IP's to whatever device is connected, on some routers you can limit what's available.
