getting itunes to store library on external HD?

Yo just bought an external HD so i can free up the 30 or so gig that is taken up on my regular HD.. I've copied the itunes music folder (where it saves the songs) to my new drive - but how do i get iTunes to read it from here instead????
 
go to the "advanced" tab in the iTunes preferences and click "change." Now select your new library location.
