I broke down and bought a iPad air today (couldn't wait 2 weeks for the mini to ship to me). But the iWork/iLife apps I do not own already do not show as free which they are supposed to be with a new purchase. Search is disabled on the forums right now so wanted to ask if someone could explain how to get them for free? Thanks.

Just to be more correct (and before people start saying I'm wrong). It can take a little time. It took over 24 hours for me but I'm sure everyone's mileage varies.
