I've seen this problem pop pop up from time to time across a few versos of Mac OS but I haven't seen a solid answer.

Usually about once a day I get logged out of my Admin user account while working. When i log back it everything starts to pop back up (i usually lose a big of work) but the system also starts launching everything i open at launch like it was re-started.

This only started happening to me once I added a 2nd video card and introduced a third 4K display to my system but I am not sure it's a hardware issue.

I have tried to run PRAM in safe boot, haven't helped.

I am on a Mac Pro 5,1 running HS
With 2X ATI Radeon HD 5770 1 GB GPU's and 3 27 inch displays if that matters.

Any help would be great!

I tried reinstalling OS X High Sierra and it still an issue, usually about once a day.

Its not Log out after 60 minutes of inactivity, and i turned off the setting in Chrome that people said was causing this.

Any help would be appreciated.

It might have something to do with the specific user account.

I'd create another admin-level user and log into the new account. If the problem repeats itself there, it might be related to your hardware modification.

I guess you didn't understand the point of this exercise.

Should I create the admin and still use my current account?
Create a new admin account and USE it for a while to see if the problem arises again. If it does not, that points to some sort of error/corruption in your original admin account.

Should I remove admin access from the account I use?
Stop using your current account to see if the problem is specific to that account. Whether or not your original account has admin privileges shouldn't matter if you stop using it.
