Hi guys,
I've just got my new macbook pro 2.4GHz,4GB RAM,8600M GT,and i am not new in Mac,i am working on iMac for 1 years already, but also i have few questions about how to behave with notebok because i am planning to work in ArchiCAD and Artlantis studio,so both 3D and rendering, and i wonder how can i get max from my mac and not to harm it,because renderings sometimes last for 24 hours with full system load.
I've looked on internet, but nowhere straight answer.Basically i am interesed if someone have link or can mail me with some references,i.e. optimal using,(temperatures, hours on power adapter....),same for maximum.....
Best Samp Regards!

Curious how you get on with this!! Do you think the graphics card is powerful enough for your programs?

Perhaps a cooling bad with adjustable fan speeds would help the temperatures when under full load?

Sounds like you definitely need additional cooling.

You probably want to get a laptop stand to allow more air flow (I use the mStand), and certainly use fans. Note the stands with fans typically are very noisy and don't push enough air, so you probably want to use a desk fan.
