Getting micro SIMS abroad - easy or not?

With all the talk of people using their ipads abroad - how easy have you found it to source a micro SIM card for use?

I'm off on holiday and thinking I'll take my ipad2 3G if it ever arrives and see if I can get a micro SIM once I'm there - but how easy it will be to get in Greece or the Greek Islands I dont know!
