Getting MIDI to SEND back to a synth via USB - Garageband

Hey guys, I only just got my mac and Garageband, but I have a little bit of knowledge of recording software having mucked around a bit before.

I have next to NO knowledge on anything MIDI, but have managed to plug my Roland JUNO-G into my mac and getting it sending MIDI information to garageband, so I can use the built in VSTs.

My problem is, I've decided that the vast majority of sounds in Garageband are pretty cheesy, so I want to use the sounds in my synth instead. I'm a terrible keyboard player, so I'd like the send MIDI messages i've already got INTO the synth, so it just plays them and outputs them as audio.

Any idea what I am talking about?

Garageband doesn't have the ability to send MIDI data, but you can do it with midiO.
