Getting Movies/TV Shows from my TV HD recorder to my Mac

For analogue capture eyetoy hybrid or 250 (http://www.elgato.com/elgato/int/mainmenu/products.en.html) looks good.
If your sony HD does a thing called iLink, look into that, as that may be a way of capturing video without using analogue. I think it uses a firewire cable

Which one offers more options? The Hybryd or the 250Plus?
How do I get tv on these things? With an antenna?
And how would I record from my HD then? Put the EyeTV in my USB port and then .. ?

Yeah, we really need a Home Theater Forum here. 
The Eye TV Hybrid can connect to a variety of cable inputs, including antennas, cable or satellite boxes. I really did ours - its software is da bomb.
