Handbrake.

Converts DVDs into whatever format you desire. I know its Mac-compatible but I don't know about Windows.

Download MacTheRipper or Handbrake. Use that to "rip" the dvds. Next stop, iTunes...

Does Handbrake work on WIndows?

It does. Just make sure to download the GUI version and not the command line one.
