How do you get edited photos from iOS iPhoto to OSX iPhoto? I was really hoping there'd be some iCloud stuff here that made the process easy... ie. I'm on holiday and - 1) import photos from camera to iPad with camera kit 2) edit wanted photos on iOS iPhoto while traveling 3) get home and have my edited photos sync to my OSX iPhoto for longterm storage. Can this happen?
If you save the edited photo to your camera roll, doesn't it automatically push it to Photostream when you next connect to wifi?
If not using photostream there are 2 ways.. both of them not so elegant and needs manual work. It is not automatic from itunes and the iPad needs to be physically plugged into your computer. http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4083 1. using iPhoto to import 2. using image capture
I'm in the same boat, except it's not even when I'm on vacation - we've been putting all our pics on the iPad because with AirPlay and our new AppleTV, we can then immediately view them on the TV in the living room. It's great, except that there's no easy way to get them from iOS iPhoto (where a lot of them end up edited, cropped, etc and put into Photo Journals) to my Lightroom/iPhoto on my iMac (where I have traditionally stored my pictures) ... So yeah, kind of sucks.
Possibly I'm misunderstanding the question but I can edit a photo on my iPad using iOS iPhoto and share it to the iPad Camera Roll. The edited photo then appears in Photo Stream on my iPhone and OSX iPhoto. Tom
