iPod touch Getting Photos off a non-jailbroken Ipod Touch

I had to reformat my pc, that it was sync to. Now, I can't get any of my photos off. Is there a free application that'll do this? Or, can I I jailbreak my ipod and then ssh into it? Thanks

The photos on your ipod have been downgraded to an iPod resolution and will not be good enough to print.
