Getting pictures from my Macbook to my Mac Mini

Dont know where this should go but try this first. I have a Macbook 13" 2009 model. No firewire port. I am setting up my Mac mini right now and wanted to get all my pics and add them to my mac mini. I want to keep them on my macbook though. My mac mini is a 2010 model. Any suggestions on how to do this without the firewire port on my Macbook. Other than burning all the pics to a disk. Then transferring them to the mini? Thanks in advance.

P.S.- I searched a bit but maybe need some different key words or something.
