    Ok just got finished... easy as pie!!

    I can tell a difference from 4 to 8

    My i7 high res 512gb ssd is "prepared to ship" today and the 8GB kit is en route! I'll soon be in the same boat!

    How can you tell the differnce? What kind of things are you running?

    I, too, am considering buying a base 13 inch 2.4Ghz MBP and then upgrading it. If I buy an MBP I will also get 8Gb of RAM from OWC and also get one of their 200Gb 2.5 inch SSD drives. From the numbers I have seen the OWC Mercury drives, although having somewhat less capacity than either Crucial or Intel's SSD drives, are the fastest in the industry. Does anybody here have an OWC Mercury SSD drive?
