Getting rid of 'genres'...

    I'm sure i must be missing something very obvious... but is there a way I can zap the 'genres' section in iTunes 8... so songs are just featured by artist and album? Thanks...

    If you right click on the bar you can choose which attributes to display.

    Thanks... But this works with the browser columns... not with the sections at the top: genre, artist and album...

    Also please search in future as the site already has many answers on it :)

    I did search... but I still don't understand ('terminal window'?? :confused:)). I'd just love someone to tell me how to remove the 'genre' section at the top. In words I can understand. Many thaniks... :)

    Open Terminal.app. This will give you a "terminal window". Type the text from the other thread. Press return. Make sure iTunes is not running when you do this.
