Hi - I installed and then deleted software (NetBarrierX5, Intego) but the icon (looks like a castle) is still in the right menu bar and I can't get rid of it - I think I uninstalled properly because the software is not in my Applications or Downloads folders (I checked Library>preferences too)

When I click on the icon most of the options are greyed out and the ones that look live (eg "Open NetBarrierX5") do nothing when I click on them. Any idearrrs?

I have a MacBook OSX 10.5.2

If your not bothered with having a file living somewhere on your harddrive, you could try holding command and dragging it out of the menubar, it works for 99% of them :)
