I had a bit of an unusual problem this morning. I was looking for an update to a French dictionary app from Le Robert. I went to the company's web page on Safari and clicked on the link to the new version of the app only to be told it was not available on the Swiss store but the French - I stupidly tapped yes to get switched just to see what it was.

Then I could not switch back. When I went into my Apple ID to switch country stores I got the message I cannot do so as I have to spend my balance and cancel my Apple Music subscription. So how was I able to get switched in the first place? I had to find an app only available on the Swiss app store before I could get switched back. Any easier way to do this?

Sign out and then sign back in with your Apple id. It should then take you to the store the Apple ID is associated with.
