I didn't know if this was a jb issue or not but either way I need some help. Starting last night I started receiving text messages after each email that I got. This wasn't just a neatly formatted text but rather a while bunch of characters with sometimes emoticons in it. The sender would usually be from +com.

Any ideas where might be causing this? I can't remember what app I upgraded to have caused this. I use bitesms but that's not the problem since it happened when I tried another text program. Not only is this using up my text limit but driving me nuts.

Thanks for your help.

A few things to add. I deleted BiteSMS completely but still had the issue. I also deleted and reinstalled my mail server, exchange but no go. I thought it might be the Exchange so I set up an account with gmail but same issue.

Another thing is when I try opening an email (read or unread) i get another text and the email doesn't load up. It just says loading each time.

This is so frustrating.

Do you have SMS GV Extension? I was having the same problem and remembered that I just installed an update of this. I went under settings and added my GV Account info (not sure why it wasn't there). Then, I went to receive settings and under "Sources for Receive", I turned off Local Mail.

I'm not sure why this worked, but it did. Hope it helps.

THANK YOU

I noticed how the person who asked forgot to thank you. I had the same issue. :)
