A friend and I are planning to get the iPhone 5 and another friend is going to add on a phone(regular texting phone) to the plan. What's the best way to proceed? Im sure we couldn't go to the apple store because of the friend who's trying to get a texting phone can't really get one in the apple store. I'm not sure how to preorder from at&t either... Please help!

Can't do anything until it's announced... once that happens, all the options will be well known.
Most likely, you should be able to do everything you want from the AT&T website.

If Apple releases the iPhone 5 in their stores only, you could get those phones there then just go add another line at the AT&T store or online later.
