Hey all!
I'm getting tow of the apple 17" lcd.
I know that they have only the adc port, I need to connect them to my computer.
the only available ports that I got are VGA and HDMI
I was thinking about the following combinations:
VGA- to DVI- to ADC
and
HDMI- to DVI- to ADC
will it work well for both?
thanx alot,
Roy.

Your HDMI-DVI to ADC will work, but you can't convert an analog VGA signal to a digital ADC using adapters. ADC is basically DVI with a slightly different pinout that also carries USB and power on the same cable.

unfortunately I don't have the option to give up on the VGA. there's no way it's going to work? it's a secondary screen anyway, so the quality doesn't has to be a supreme one. the main one will be a 42" lcd, and it's taking the DVI output.
even if I could get another dvi/hdmi, It won't help because the vga cable is built into the wall. (might be sound wired)
thanx alot,
Roy.
