I have an iPhone 4, version 6.1 running baseband 4.12.05. Is there a gevey sim out there I can use to unlock it? It's locked to Rogers Canada. Also, can you use everything on a gevey unlocked iPhone like a factory unlocked one? For example, using data services and making/receiving calls? Thanks for the answers. :apple:

Nope, your ONLY option is an IMEI unlock. The selling carrier might do this according to their policy or you can look for a grey market vendor.

Nope, not on that phone, There is no software or sim interposer option for your baseband.

You bought a phone that can only be IMEI unlocked.

You're kidding me! Ok, thanks for the help. Just hope you're 100% correct though.
