Ghost Icons - Help

Hello folks
I have 2 ghost icons at present: Finder and Dashboard.
Do you know how to remove this problem. This is what I did: I erased com.apple.dock.plist and then using Time Machine replaced it with an older version. I still have the problem 🙁
Any tip will be much appreciated.

Did you try restarting? That cures many problems.

You might also try running a maintenance programme such as Onyx to clean up and rebuild the system...

i did no try this program. hope its free. will check.
i also tried disc recovery but it did not help! 🙁
