I made a small (4kb) Gif animation with Gimp, and when I upload it to macrumors, in the change avatar section, I only get to see the first frame. It's not this avatar i have at the moment.. What am I doing wrong?

Not very familiar with Gimp but maybe (common mistake when making animated gifs) it didn't export AS an animated gif? Post it as an attachment see if it works.

I did save it as an animation, there where 2 options: put all layers in one layer or make an animated gif.
EDIT: it seems like in attachment it works ...

Was the dimensions 75 x 75 pixels or smaller? If it's scaled down it will also remove animations, as far as I remember...

So the image is fine. Maybe it's the ability to post animated avatars is denied or resizing?

I thought the limit as stated by Mitthrawnuruodo was 75X75?

For sanity sakes, redo the gif at 75x75 then save it, to be safe. MR might resize it and thus screw with the animation.
