Gifs in Safari

Is anyone else having trouble loading larger gifs in Safari? Does the entire system slow down or freeze up until the gif is fully loaded?

Yup. I've mentioned it in several threads. CPU usage spikes and the browser slows to a crawl. Your virtual memory increases and you start writing to your page file. Throughout all of this, memory pressure remains low. Not sure what to make of that.

When I first glanced at this post, I read it as "Girls in Safari"... 🙄
