    hi all
    new touch owner
    lovin it.

    question...

i went to load up my songs and got the message that there was not enough space.
    my music is 14.38 gb
it said available space is 14.78
and it said my collection is 14.92

everything else,(photos, podcasts and all that are unchecked).
is a half a gig, the album art?? lol

    any thoughts from the gang?

    thanks in advance.

iPods usually have about 50-100 megs of storage filed under "other", but I'd think that 500 MB is a bit extreme... Does iTunes show the space as free or is it "other"(orange I think)?

Maybe iTunes calculates the amount of space in gigabits instead of GB?

I think it is just album artwork. Album artwork isn't tied to the actual song (it doesn't add the artwork to the song tags). It does the same thing with me.
