I'm giving a lot of though to getting a Gigapan Epic 100 but before taking the plunge, was wondering if anyone had used a Gigapan and what the thought of it.

I'd be worried that the P&S version won't take more than smallish DLSRs, if you're looking at upgrading cameras in the future, that's a significant disadvantage. Price is good compared to a multi-row panoramic head, but more than a single-row head and Panotools. It'll be interesting to see where they price the DSLR model when it comes out.
