Eagerly awaiting Lion. Standing outside the Ginza Apple Store in Tokyo. No indication of anything going on whatsoever. Just a security guard pacing around. Anyone notice any planning at your local Apple Stores?

nothing is going to happen today... sad day for us all. also Lion is only available through the Mac App Store, why would you wait at a store?
Nobody seems to be explaining the overnighted materials though. There was another website that someone gave a link to in the comments section of the front page article that said it was coming out today.
Definitely sad. I was looking forward to staying up late to download it. I just happened to be walking in the neighborhood so I stopped by to see if anyone was milling about with boxes or displays to ready the store for tomorrow morning. I'm sure they'll advertise it at the store in some way so people know about it. It's past 10 pm here, and that's the time they'd usually be getting ready for tomorrow if they're changing displays.

I live in Japan tooI was thinking of staying outside the Ginza Apple store tonight, but it would be too risky. I thought maybe if they were to release it on the Mac App Store, they won't have anything special at the store.
Cool! For a minute I was thinking of going to that bar across the street near the bank and getting plastered all night until the store opened. Then I realized I can't afford to drink all night in Ginza, except at the 300 yen bar...
I wonder how the store would react to a wasted customer at 10 am using their wifi to download Lion.

1) Say that drunk customers are not allowed in the stores
or
2) Please, go to the theatre on the third floor and have a comfy seat
