An ironic truth is revealed in recent surveys of the American educational system. High school boys agree that it is not cool to be viewed by their peers as smart, while this stigma is not attached to girls. I see the results of this on a daily basis: my female students are much better at critical thinking that most of my male students. So until it is possible to stop this trend, I think it would be just as appropriate (which is to say outrageous and nonsensical) to ban male students from attending university.

Girls don't need to go to Collages. But college is good.
;) That's what r6girl was alluding to quite a few posts up (and CalBoy, too). Makes the OP a bit ironic.

Hmm I don't get it, I thought women were fighting for equality?
If that's what one woman wants, then it is a form of equality.

If a woman wants, and has the support of spouse, to stay home and raise a family, that is great! If a woman wants to go to college, and contribute to the income of said family, and feel good about it, that is great to!
Yup. That's something that I'm ashamed to admit, has taken me quite some time to feel really should be true. I used to look condescendingly on women who wanted to stay at home and help raise kids and tend to the house. But I've realized that it's more than acceptable, it's commendable, it's tough as hell, and good for today's woman who chooses that path for herself. :)

Likewise, if a woman chooses to have a career and focus on that, superb. And if another woman chooses to balance the two, then best of luck to her, as well.

Are we living in 1920?

Honestly....(unless its satire...in which case, they should have made it clear....because then it would prove a good point...)

But yea, want a job, fine, want to raise kids, fine....want both? Go for it.

What ever floats your boat...just be good at what ever you do( that all goes for both genders)
