I was originally going to pre-order myself a nice shiny new *white* 32GB iPhone 4. When pre-order day finally came, I was as horrified. I wanted an iPhone 4 really bad, but I kinda just stared at the screen, even when my pre-order for black would've gone through, because I wanted white. I don't know what to do lol. I want an iPhone 4, and I love the way white looks, but I don't want to give in and go camp and get black. One of my main concerns is that i'll wait a month to get a white one and I won't like the color because it's too bright around the screen or something..... Then I get to eat 15% restocking and get black when I could've got it two days from now. I'm probably just being stupid and second guessing myself... iDunno... Anyway else thinking like this :p. You guys think there would be any major disadvantages to getting white or something... some excuse for me to get black :p. Black just seems so boring.... iDunno lol. And i'm a dude..... yeh... And I think the white is awesome.. not feminine.... I think it says... look at my iPhone 4, it looks freakin sweet.... Does ur phone look as cool as mine.. no ... :p

A phoneballs case for your white iPhone4 should take care of any under-compensation issues you may be having when you get it.


Or get an EVO, that monolith-of-overcompensation will make 10-year old girls feel manly.
 
Seriously though like zomg I want some reason to not want white.... flippin lyke *Sigh* someone give me one...!!!!!

I remember when I bought my 3G, I wanted the Black one but I was able to get the White one with only a 3 day wait from my local store whereas the Black one was close to a month. What happened?

This is my second topic on this subject, but this time i'm actually just asking for people to please give me reasons why I shouldn't want to wait for white..... I'm thinking of staying the night in front of my local Apple Store to get a 32 GB Black, but i'm still all hung up over white.. so.... yeh... help.... please? lolz

Another "help me" thread, eh? :rolleyes:

Ask yourself this. Would you rather not have an iPhone 4 for a few days (possbily a week), or would you rather have an iPhone in hand by tomorrow?
 
Videos will look a bit funny with a white border, versus staring at an all black matt, waiting for the video to load up.

White does look a little more "toy" like.

In either case, if they have one at the store, I'm prepared to pay the restocking fee to swap. ;)
 
Daddy told you to get black and you will listen! You should buy what you want. It's your hard earned money, enjoy the things you want and don't settle just because your inpatient.
 
Personally, I think the black one looks much better. Anything with a screen is only going to risk being overpowered by lighter frames.

But, it's like a car. How are you going to feel every time you see it? Are you going to resent the color? In 6 months are you going to think "why didn't I just wait"?

That's something i'm kind of worried about. One of my main worries is that i'll wait lke a month or two for the white iPhone then i'll return it and get black because it's too bright or something :p
