A big improvement IMO, I'd like to see what it looks like hovering over one of the main menu items though...

i think it only works with 5G and 5.5G ipods.. the videos ones then :p

works for 1st generation nanos aswell, I say that there. But doesnt seem to work with the second gens. I have seen this before, the iPod nano 1G is pretty hackable.

It'd be nice if there was a program like iPod Wizard for Mac, so people with Mac's, and limited access to Windows machines could do this to.

Ah only Windows? Finally something fun to do with Windows Machines! :D Ill get to work right away....

This is a pretty awesome mod IMO. but no way for it to work with OSX?! i don't see anywhere on the sites what the 'proper' firmware for the ipod is, nor do i see where it says only for windows.... am i blind?

I think the thread title should be: Give your 5G iPod the iPod touch UI. As far as I can tell from the website this is for 5 and 5.5 gen iPods. I almost didn't click on this thread because the title said classic.

did it a few weeks ago on a friend's PC. definitely a cool mod, but it does have a number of bugs. hopefully they update it later.
